Gardening (Spring)

Our gardening sessions are back!

The sessions are offered twice a year, once in Spring and then end of Summer.

The registration is active and will close once the required number of children is met.

The following is a breakdown of the 6-weeks program offered 2x a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am.

Soil Week, March 28 and March 30

Plant Week, April 04 and April 06

Seed Week, April 11 and April 13

Bug Week, July 18 and July 20 (Summer)

Veggie Week, July 25 and July 27 (Summer)

Flower Week, August 01 and August 03 (Summer)

Each individual week is $35 (per family) or if registering for all 6 weeks (Spring and Summer) it is $130 (for up to 2 children). Participants will be provided with all the tools and materials needed. If only interested in Spring, please email me for the price.

Plants we will learn to grow include greens (lettuce, kale, spinach, etc) and root vegetables (turnip, radish, beet)*

Children will also receive seedlings of native plants from the following list:

Dense blazing star

Butterfly weed (limited)

Ironweed

Aster

Black-eyed Susan

Purple Coneflower

*grown using heirloom seeds. Organic and non-GMO
