Bismillaah
In June we completed our Firefly Unit studies and the night hike to see the fireflies. Alhamdulillaah it was a lot of fun and families enjoyed all the activities. See our highlights from the course here
We also organized a wool workshop with Windreach Farm and we learned so much about the process of wool to yarn. Our workshop participants tried their hands on weaving and got to take a mug warmer home. Check out the highlights here
In July, we are starting our Knitting Club! The sessions will be held in-person over 6 weeks and participants will learn how to hand knit and make their own lapghans or scarf for winter. The program is almost sold out. But we will begin another batch in October in shaa Allaah if you are unable to join this month.
In August, we will be starting Summer Gardening for ages 7+. Children worked really hard during Spring Gardening to get the garden started. They will be returning to learn more about the plants, how to maintain their health by learning IPM and follow-up with 3 botanical watercolor painting sessions to learn Plant ID!
