Bismillaah, This program will fill a void in the community for young girls to connect with Allaah's Magnificent Words. To be mentored by qualified educators who have been brought up in Scarborough , who understand the community and have gone through similar obstacles /challenges, the young girls will have great support system who can guide them in this journey. The most unique part of the program is for our girls to have the opportunity to learn, reflect and memorize ayat while being in nature, being surrounded by so many of Allaah's proofs. Program Supervisor: Usta'dha Rabia Khan (Qur'an judge in the city, ijazah with sanad in 'ashrah qira'aat, teaching hifdh since 2012) Teachers: Graduate students of Usta'dha Rabia - experience teachers in the city. Frequently Asked Questions: Can I join one and not both? Meaning do hifdh without nature program - we have limited capacity on campus for students and can take up to 15 students. However, if one wishes to only partake in the nature component, the cost would be $200/month for 4 sessions. Where do you meet for nature component? TBA - we will announce by mid-August in shaa Allaah between a farm or scouts camp. What is unique about this program? The program covers hifdh,hands-on tafseer, Arabic, etiquettes, duaa', Hadeeth along with complete outdoor education (normally priced at $500 a month). Activities include: fishing, learning to cook outdoors on fire, sewing, pitching tent, working with clay, etc). This program is like no other.
