Service Description

Short Description: Weekly Hands-on lessons focused on character development through Qur'an. Note: Our curriculum includes more than one Surah, and other shorter lengths of programs will be offered based on the other surahs throughout the school breaks. Detailed Description: Suratun Nahl details innumerable favours of Allaah upon mankind. The Surah focuses on 'Aqeedah, Allaah's creations invoking self-reflection and gratitude. It aims to channel our view of a good life and importance of community. Participants will meet with educators from Allaah, Nature and Me to learn about gardening, stewardship,and farm life. The price of the course will cover any ticket prices associated with trips, tours or activities participants will attend. Activities include: Beekeeping and honey production (visiting a farm), Rain and Irrigation (visiting a local native garden), Wool to yarn workshop, Gardening and Growth of Plants & Fruits. The sessions will take place weekly during summer for 3 hours of length/session. Our Instructors Usta'dha Rabia is a qualified Qur'anic Sciences Educator with sanad as well as a certified outdoor educator and founder of Allaah, Nature and Me. She has been teaching children for the past 25 years. She founded the Laurier MSA during her high school years and worked as da'wah Coordinator with YM and UfT MSA. She was also an Ameerah with AlMaghrib Toronto from 2007-2009.
